| Lorna
Ingman
gives us an update on Bo, who was in the care of the
Worcester & District Branch of Cats Protection last year
after being found as a stray in Worcester..... "Bo is settling in fine, he's had all of his vaccinations and has been chipped so we started letting outside a couple of weekends ago. We're doing it very gradually, and only at the weekends until it starts getting lighter in the evenings". "We're also supervising him at the moment - it seems the best thing to do until we feel totally confident that he'll come back on his own." "He's very excited about being outside and also very curious, as you can imagine. We have discovered that he's a magnificent climber, both outdoors and indoors! We had my mother-in-law to stay for Christmas and she slept in our room and we slept on an airbed downstairs." "At about 4.30am on Christmas morning, Bo woke us up by climbing right on top of the very high shelving unit we have, which is virtually up to the ceiling! Since then, he keeps finding all sorts of weird places to climb on or get into." "He is a beautiful cat and we love him to bits." |

SAM
Just wanted to let you all know how thrilled we are to have
Sam. He's an absolute darling and hasn't put a foot
wrong - yet! He loves playing with his toys, chasing invisible mice, and sleeping in bed with us. He's yet to meet our chickens properly, but is showing a great deal of interest through the window... I'd like to thank Valerie for looking after him so well before he came to live with us. She said that he's the sort of son every mother would wish to have - well, he's certainly a lovely cat, and made himself at home within 5 minutes of coming through our door. The pictures show him playing with snakey, and (for once) sitting still and posing beautifully for the camera, after feasting on some fresh mackerel. Yes, he is going to be totally spoilt I'm afraid! Very best wishes, Susie & Alan |

ROY
and ROGER
Just wanted to let you know
that Roger and Roy are doing really well. They
have come a really long way in the past couple of
months, and are becoming very confident.
They wander round the house like they own the place, and don't hide anymore when people come round. If we ask them to do something they dont want to do, they meow a little to let us know they are not happy and then being the good cats that they are do it (like get off my seat when I want to sit down, or move out of our bedroom when its time for us to go out.) They are now allowed outside, they explore the garden like hunters - Roy first, then Roger once he realises its safe (such a scaredy cat!). When we first let them out, Roger would wait at the door and just look longingly outside at his brother, Roy went straight out and I think straight into next doors garden - all went quiet then we heard him scream and come running back in covered in mud! God knows where he had been! But within an hour his coat was beautifully white again, and he was back outside, so it didn't put him off! We are loving having them around, they are such loving cats and so well behaved, you did so well with them! |

JEM Just to let you know the little black kitten we had off you is doing fantastic. We have decided to call her 'Jem'. She is getting on with our other cat Flicka really well now and spend most of the day playing with each other and then they both crash out on one of the climbing frames. Tomorrow Jem is going to have her vaccine and we have registed here with the Vets. I have attached some pictures for you to see how she is getting on. Thanks again for letting us have her she really is a jem ! ! |

| Hi Foster Mummy I am just sending you an update of how I am doing. ![]() I love my new home, the cat they call Suki does not like me or the other two cats, but when she turns on me I think it is a game and hit back at her so she runs after me, this is a good game, but my new Mummy says its not a game and I should be careful. Jilly has let me sleep by her, but she is not sure if she likes me or not. Jack is not happy with me, and my Mummy says its going to take a lot of time before he comes round and she is surprised at this. It has only been a few weeks in my new home but its great, I have changed my food to Felix, as I was eating the big cat food, I now have my own Felix kitten food, I eat the big cats crunchies, I have my own kitten ones which are the same Purina One, but I don't care for them and Jack eats them for me, I have been having cat milk as my Mummy said I do not drink enough water, the cat milk is just for cats and I like it as an extra treat, this way I am drinking more which I am told is good for me. Attached are some current pictures of me, as you will see I am growing up fast. I am off to the vets in the morning for my Jab and Chip and at the end of September I have to go to the vets for a little operation so that I do not get any lady cats in the family way, this is when my Mummy says I will meet a very nice vet in Droitwich who will look after me. My Daddy has gone away this weekend, but Mummy has stopped at home to look after me, which I am very pleased about. I hope that you are okay and my other brothers and sisters have found homes, I will send new photos as I get older. Take care, Love Murphy x |
