Make a DonationAs a charity, Cats Protection relies solely on the generosity and support of the public to enable us to go on caring for cats in need. Making a donation may be your way to help us, simply contact us and we will gratefully accept your kind offer. Why donate?A donation - no matter how great or small - will help us go on caring for the hundreds of unwanted, abandoned and stray cats that come through our doors every year. Knowing we can rely on your support allows us to put long-term plans into action, and be confident our day-to-day costs can be met without worry. Here's just an example of how your donation could help:
|
Gift Aid - If you complete a Gift Aid Declaration Form, we can reclaim the tax on any donation you make. This means that every £1 you give is worth an additional 28p to us.
Make a regular donation by direct debit - Making a regular donation is particularly welcomed as this enables us to plan for the future care of the cats that need our help. Please contact us for further information.
Make a one-off donation - Your donation will help us care for unwanted, abandoned and stray cats until new homes are found for them. Please contact us for further information.
Leaving a legacy to Cats protection - Another way of helping us is to remember us in your will. This is not something we like to think about, but even a small amount bequest to us can make a tremendous difference to our work. It is important to understand that if you feel you would like to make a bequest to your local branch, you must state that it is to go to "Worcester & District Branch of Cats Protection", this money will then go to your local branch to help them care for cats in your area. Leaving a donation to charity in your Will also minimises your tax liability. Please think about this, and if you want more details, or want to talk to us about this, then simply contact us and we will be happy to explain how this works.
Caring for your cat after you die - You cannot leave money to your cat, but you can leave money in your Will to Cats Protection on condition that we ensure your cat is looked after for the rest of his/her life. For more information about this service simply contact us and we will be happy to discuss this with you. We have a range of leaflets covering the above topics - "Where There's a Will" and "What Will Become of My Cat" - for a copy of these leaflets please see our Cat Information Leaflets page or click here for contact details.
