Lost & FoundIf you are a cat owner, you will know how worrying it can be when your beloved pet goes missing, below are some tips on where to start to find your cat
If your cat disappears.... then look in all rooms, cupboards, boxes, household appliances, e.g. washing machines. Sheds and garages, vehicles, gardens, hedgerows, lost & found section of the newspaper
Inform.... Neighbors, the police, local veterinary clinics, Local Cats Protection Branch on 07912 112381, local schools (children are observant as regards animals), Local RSPCA, Local PDSA, local Blue Cross, the cleansing department of your local council, your postman and milkman, newspaper delivery person, 'PetSearch' UK - contact 0121 704 4377
Advertise.... by putting posters on trees, distributing leaflets to shops, Post Offices, garages, local schools, veterinary clinics, local newspapers, radio, local notice boards, include a recent photograph of your missing cat
Finally.... The earlier you report your cat as missing, the more likely it is that he will be found. When your cat does return, DO inform any authorities who have been asked to look for him. Consider having your cat micro-chipped, but make sure if you move address that you inform the Micro-chip company of your new address.
Here at your local Cats Protection Branch we hold a register of cats that are reported to us as lost or found, it is worth giving us a call on 07912 112381 to check if we have any information on your cat.

Purdie
|
Purdie is white with a ginger and black tail, she also has a ginger
spot on her back and a tiny bit of ginger on her face and at the base
of her ears. She has NEVER strayed before and only went outside if she was sure I was nearby and there was a means of her coming back in, in her own time, so there was always a door or window open. On 18 May 2010 the night she went missing from the Primsland area of Droitwcih, she was sat in the front doorway with the door open at around 10.30 and I wondered if somebody walking home from the Spring Meadow Pub picked her up and took her home and then let her out the next morning. She has never left the safety of her own garden so perhaps if that did happen she would not be able to find her way back home. I hope she is safe and I can get back home with me where she belongs. There is a reward for her safe return. |

Henri
|
Henri is
very long-haired, and black all over with green eyes. She has a
very fluffy tail and a ‘mane’ around her neck. She was last seen on Sunday 1st November 2009 in the Boreley area (near to Ombersley), but she may have ventured near to Droitwich as we have recently moved house. Henri is truly a part of our family, and any help to find her would really be appreciated. |
