Lost & Found

Is your Cat missing?

If you are a cat owner, you will know how worrying it can be when your beloved pet goes missing, below are some tips on where to start to find your cat

If your cat disappears....  then  look in all rooms, cupboards, boxes, household appliances, eg: washing machines.  Sheds and garages, vehicles, gardens, hedgerows, lost & found section of the newspaper

Inform.... Neighbours, the police, local veterinary clinics, Local Cats Protection Branch on 07912 112381, local schools (children are observant as regards animals), Local RSPCA, Local PDSA, local Blue Cross, the cleansing department of your local council, your postman and milkman, newspaper delivery person, 'PetSearch' UK - contact 0121 704 4377

Advertise.... by putting posters on trees, distributing leaflets to shops, Post Offices, garages, local schools, veterinary clinics, local newspapers, radio, local notice boards, include a recent photograph of your missing cat

Finally....  The earlier you report your cat as missing, the more likely it is that he will be found.   When your cat does return, DO inform any authorities who have been asked to look for him.  Consider having your cat micro-chipped, but make sure if you move address that you inform the Micro-chip company of your new address.

Here at your local Cats Protection Branch we hold a register of cats that are reported to us as lost or found, it is worth giving us a call on 07912 112381 to check if we have any information on your cat.

If you have lost a cat why not try the Pet Finder On-line

You can also try the national Animal Search UK website. The pictures that appear directly below are cats registered as missing from the Worcestershire area. They also provide an information and advice leaflet that you can download here

Charlie was travelling with us on our narrow boat 'Alice' through locks 25 - 28 at 'Tardebigge' Flight on the weekend of the 18th may 2008.
He belongs to a family who have a disabled young person who is very upset at his loss.   He is micro-chipped if you take him to a vet they will scan him.  I have contacted the RSPCA if you call this number 01905 841354 and ask for Pamela they will arrange for him to be collected.

He has been seen by the lock cottages near the British waterways yard at Tardebigge.

Please call if you have seen him as we desperately wish to be reunited with him

Daisy went missing from the village of Stoulton between Worcester & Pershore. She doesn't have a collar and she's not been in this location long.

She's quite small, grey with green eyes and quite fluffy with a thin tail. She is very shy, particularly with men so she may run away.

Please contact me if you have any information

Please can you help! Our family cat named ‘Callie’ has gone missing. She lives at 8 Saltwood Avenue, Berkeley Alford and had been missing since Wednesday evening.

She is a 6 year old Tortishell, with a well groomed coat, and has been described by our vet as “over weight” how rude?!

Please can we ask you to check your sheds and garages, in case she has taken shelter and been locked in. She may respond to her name, but normally she is very weary of strangers, and her first instinct is to run off. However she is completely harmless.
